Stay Safe Shopping Online

Over the next few weeks, many of us will look to pick up a few bargains in the sales, and whilst most buyers and sellers are genuine, there are unfortunately fraudsters out there whose spoof websites will look to scam shoppers out of their cash.

Spoof websites are fake sites made to look like real ones to steal your personal or banking details when you submit them to the site. 

🌐 Protect yourself by checking the website address at the top of the web address bar to make sure no characters are incorrect. 

🔒 Look for ‘https://’ at the beginning of the web address and the padlock symbol; though be sure that padlock is within the address bar at the top of the screen, not on the page itself.
